 Christian Family Development Mission in Honduras
The Little Hands, Big Hearts mission in Trujillo, Honduras operates under the sponsorship of the Summit View Church of Christ in Yakima, Washington. This mission began in 1998 and has served 30 "special needs" children and their families. The Family Development Center is the site where most of the services offered through LHBH are initiated. Specific ministries include a developmental preschool, women's sewing program, neighborhood children's Bible hour, health and nutrition outreach, home improvement program, young people's character-building program, and educational programs with the local churches and schools in the Trujillo area.
